Gatehouse Bank Facilitates the Acquisition of 'The Mint' in Leeds

Gatehouse Bank, has facilitated the acquisition of The Mint on behalf of real estate investors. The ca 120,000 sq. ft. office building in Leeds was acquired from pan-European institutional investor, Patron Capital.

The Mint is a modern, well-located, Grade A office building, built in 2009 and arranged over eight floors, in the city’s Holbeck district, just 500m south of Leeds train station. It is currently fully let until January 2033 to Dart Group Plc, the logistics specialist and owner of Jet2 Holidays and airline Jet2, the third largest UK airline.

Gatehouse Bank was represented by BNP Paribas Real Estate and advised by Shepherd and Wedderburn as lead legal counsel.
