A different way to save
Your account has an expected profit rate or EPR, rather than an interest rate. We invest your money into Shariah-compliant investments and you receive the profits as returns on your account. We’ve always delivered the expected profit rate for our savers. If ever we don’t and you decide to take your savings elsewhere, the process is straightforward.
A different way to finance property
We do things a little differently. Our core offering is Shariah compliant property finance, where you buy your property in partnership with the Bank. Your deposit is your share, and we fund the rest.
The Bank is the registered owner, but the property belongs to both of us as beneficial owners. Instead of paying interest, you pay rent on the part we own. Each month, your payments can cover both the rent and go towards buying more of our share so bit by bit, the property becomes yours. Once you’ve bought us out, ownership transfers fully to you.
If your plans need a bit more flexibility, bridging finance is also available through Gatehouse Capital.
