Job Summary:

Working within our IT department, you will support the wider business with 1st line queries, becoming an integral member of the IT Support team, providing top quality service and query resolution within the businesses. You will also work closely with the IT Manager to deliver projects and the implement the banks IT strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced graduate or 1st Line Support, to further their career within a growing bank.

Key responsibilities:

  • Helpdesk/First line support for all Staff. System Administration, including Application problem tracking and resolution, and network/System Performance monitoring;
  • Supporting Desktop, Mobile devices including laptops, mobile phone, printers network infrastructure hardware and AV equipment
  • On-boarding of new staff and Bank:
  • Assist in the testing and introduction of new technology and software;
  • Ensuring the enforcement of IT policies and procedures
  • Delivery of new projects
  • Change management control
  • Occasional travel between sites is required

Skills required:

  • Providing 1st line support
  • Networking and hardware
  • Microsoft office 2013/2016 / Office 365
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016 (AD, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Microsoft Exchange 2013/2016

Required knowledge & skills:

  • Server Virtualisation (Hyper-V / vSphere)
  • SharePoint Services
  • Avaya phone systems

Beneficial knowledge & skills:

  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to deal with all level of staff including senior staff
  • Have a strong independent working attitude and able to problem solve with tight time constraints
  • Work to deadlines and manage workflow
  • Ability to multitask
  • Attention to detail
