Job Summary

Gatehouse Bank Savings franchise has seen significant growth in recent years due to our growing range of products, competitive offering, and ethical approach to finance. This person is responsible for managing Gatehouse Bank’s award-winning savings franchise, including the development of new products/pricing, management of existing customers and key internal and external relationships.

About us

Founded in 2007, we are a challenger bank that operates in accordance with Shariah principles, with offices in London, Milton Keynes and Wilmslow. We offer personal and corporate savings products and finance for UK residential and commercial property, in addition to sourcing and advising on UK real estate investments.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a strong relationship with the bank’s savings partner (NSSL) and internal departments on all savings related activity including: Product management, Customer journey / communication, Regulatory changes, Management information
  • Manage relationships with existing / new cash management platform partners
  • Initiate and oversee new savings product / pricing development
  • Establish strong internal relationships with teams across the Bank including the Executive team, Treasury, Finance, Risk and Compliance to ensure business targets are achieved
  • Play a key role in the Marketing & Communications team - work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that the savings product range is effectively promoted
  • Act as the Bank’s expert / spokesperson on all things savings related
  • Member of the Asset & Liabilities Committee (ALCO) - Monitor business/market activity and sharing regular management information updates with the committee
  • Member of the Operations Committee (OPCO) - Presenting monthly updates on operational performance against SLAs across all distribution channels
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external money aggregators and platforms
  • Regulation – manage the process of all regulation updates from beginning to end, across all communications

Skills required

  • Knowledge of the financial services and developing products in a regulated environment
  • Strong knowledge of the UK retail savings market
  • Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to negotiate with service providers
