Gatehouse Bank Strengthens Wealth Management Team in London
Gatehouse Bank, a leading Shariah compliant investment bank, is pleased to announce a welcome addition to its executive team at its London offices; Ms Hanan Al-Najjar, Executive Vice President and Deputy Head of Wealth Management. The new addition forms part of Gatehouse's business growth strategy, which will add greater strengths and skills in customer services; as well as the addition of further wealth management products and services to cater to High Net Worth clients.
Ms Al-Najjar has joined Gatehouse Bank from Emirates NBD PJSC in London where she was Head of Priority Banking for 2.5 years before becoming Head of Banking Services. With over 20 years experience in the industry, Hanan has a solid background in London-based branches of Middle Eastern banks, including Ahli United Bank (UK) plc, plus extensive experience with National Bank of Kuwait SAK, Ms Al-Najjar now sets her sights on British based Gatehouse.
She stated, “It’s a privilege to be joining an accomplished team at Gatehouse Bank, focusing on the development of wealth management products and services. I bring with me a focus on achieving results with the highest possible customer service.” She concluded, “Looking forward, we continue to source investment opportunities for our clients offering secure income and strong wealth preservation characteristics. In addition, we also look forward to working with strategic partners from around the world in securing best in class Shariah compliant products and services.”
Shariah-compliant savings products might be considered mainstream but they are absent from the majority of websites which compare rates.
Savers are missing out on some of the most competitive rates on the market because Sharia-compliant banks are being excluded from most best-buy tables.
UK challenger Gatehouse Bank has added two new senior hires to its direct finance team following the appointment of Gemma Donnelly as Head of Direct Finance.
